Community Initiatives

As part of the Nexo Dallas Open's ongoing commitment to giving back to the Dallas community, we launched a court resurfacing initiative designed to reinvest directly into local neighborhoods and expand access to the sport of tennis.

Our first project, completed in January 2026, delivered fully resurfaced public tennis courts at Heidi B. Moore Park in West Dallas. This initiative marked the first community impact effort tied to our new title partnership with Nexo and reflects a long-term commitment to supporting the city beyond tournament play. 

By transforming existing public courts into high-quality playing surfaces, we are creating more opportunities for youth and families to engage with tennis in their own neighborhoods. The upgraded courts not only improve playability but also elevate the overall park experience, bringing a level of quality typically reserved for private facilities into a public, community setting. The Dallas Tennis Association uses these courts as part of their after school tennis initiatives for the students in Dallas.

This resurfacing initiative serves as a model for how we aim to partner with communities moving forward by leveraging the platform of our event to create lasting, tangible improvements to local infrastructure and expand access to sport across Dallas.

The Isner Family Foundation has created an endowed fund to support Indigent Family Assistance managed through the Social Work Department at Children's Health. Distributions from The Isner Family Foundation Endowment for Indigent Family Assistance may be used for providing financial support for qualified families to obtain necessities, such as meals, clothing, transportation, convenient lodging, car seats, and medical supplies, while their children are under the care of Children's Health. The Nexo Dallas Open is proud to make a yearly donation to the Isner Family Foundation as well as provide tickets to support its donors and initiatives to raise funds throughout the year. The first three years of the Isner Cup was hosted on site at the Dallas Open but has most recently moved to the home of our official partners Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove.
